These three pieces are traditional bridal dresses from Siwa Oasis. In the past, the bride would wear them on her wedding day, and nowadays they are worn during the “morning after” for three days while receiving guests for congratulations.Each piece is fully hand-embroidered, taking approximately six months to craft. The symbols on the dresses hold deep meanings, such as the fish symbol representing fertility and prosperity, and the spider symbol, believed to protect from black magic.
